Dr. Miguel A. Luna Russo is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon, and recognized authority in the surgical treatment of endometriosis. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed his OB-GYN internship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York, followed by residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as Chief Administrative Resident.
He then pursued a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s premier medical institutions. Following his fellowship, Dr. Luna Russo remained on staff at the Cleveland Clinic for three years, where he was appointed Director of Endometriosis within the Women’s Health Institute and Division Chief of Gynecology at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital. Today, he leads the Institute for Complex Gynecology & Surgery, bringing world-class expertise to patients throughout South Florida and beyond. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient population.
